Nutty Olive Pate Spread
Optional Ingrediants
lemon juice, dill, parsley, pimentoes, extra yeast, basil, grated carrot

1/2 C raw nuts (may use sunflower seeds, pecans, brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds, filberts, almonds or walnuts)
1/2 C green olives (not spanish, cured with no vinegar, only salt and water)
1 T KAL nutritional yeast (not bread baking yeast)
1/8 t salt
1-2 T. water (just enough to blend ingrediants)

Put nuts in dry food processor and grind until very small pieces or meal consistancy. Add other ingrediants with water being added a little at a time until it becomes a smooth paste. This makes a good spread for a lettuce and tomato sandwitch, a dip for fresh veggies or crackers. It can also be thinned down to make a salad dressing.

I have found that the Cuizinart Mini Prep is ideal for this job. It can be found at many good housewares stores for around $30.00
