For the kids you might want to just call these the No Cow Burgers or something that doesn't sound like veggies |
Spagetti SquashBurgers 1 med. spagetti squash Boil or bake squash until cooked (should be able to dent skin of squash with thumb when done) Allow the squash to cool until it can be handled. Slice it, remove seeds and scrape out of skin with a fork. Mix squash with the other ingrediants in a large bowl with your hands. Form into patties and place on a cookie sheet dusted well with flour. Bake about 20 minutes. Turn them over and bake another 20 minutes or until lightly browned. This makes about 12 patties. |
These can be frozen after they are completly cool and used as needed in sandwiches. |
